The Traditional Saree
In the Indian tradition the saree is considered as the garment which is
mainly suitable for Indian woman for all the events. The Saree is an
unstitched piece of cloth that has that has more variation from five to
nine yards that are worn and draped in different styles and patterns.

Bengali Style:
The Bengali style saree which is a special and stand out pattern that is
draped around the body without pleats. The pallu is left loose to hang
over left shoulder. Initially the Bengali women used this style due to
the simplicity and utmost comfort.
Gujarati:
Gujarati woman have a distinctive style in wearing the saree. This saree
is worn with a neat pleated pallu over the right shoulder. One end of
it is tucked to the left.
Maharashtrian:
Called as nawwadi the traditional style of maharashtrian will have the similar look to the men with dhoti. The pleats of the saree is formed in between the legs and tucked neatly at the back. The Nawwadi Saree is worn by the women of coastal areas of Maharashtra.
Banarasi:
The Banasari sarees are made with fine silk and intricate designs are formed with the more patterns done in gold zari work. The Benarasi Sarees are heavier than normal sarees and worn by women on special events. The Benarasi saree are mostly used for the weddings for bride and it is a typical saree that which is a common with every women.
Venkatgiri:
The Venkatgiri town of Andhra Pradesh is famous for the fine cotton saree which mostly women prefer during the summer. This Indian Saree comes with light colors and all women will have this piece of colth as saree in their collection.
